Below Hochstollen :: Wetterhorn, Mönch, Eiger massive, greeny Schwarzhoren, Brienzersee behind Chingstuel and Gibel

Hochstollen, September 2019

A day trip to the Alps in the central part of Switzerland in the best company.

Hochstollen, at least 2480m high above the sea level (numbers vary…), dominating over the unfortunately crowded Melchsee-Frutt area, is one of these “smaller” mountains, but with what a view!… The nearby Titlis with Nollen and Wendestock dominates at first, but as you get higher, the Urner Alps with Susternhorn, Gwächterhorn and Tierberg appear. As soon as you reach the ridge, the world-famous Berner Alps skyline over Grindelwald show up, you know, all these Wetterhorns, Eigers, Mönchs, etc. At the Hochstollen top also the previously hidden Dammastock, Galenstock and the Furka pass surrounding complete the overwhelming panorama.
