We rented a car in the hardworking miners’ city of Kiruna with the intention of traveling to Norway for a week-long stay in a rented rorbu hut on Moskenes, the southwestern island of the Lofoten archipelago. Before and after this stay, we planned a road trip with a tent. We were incredibly fortunate with the weather, as easterly winds brought sunny conditions that lasted long enough for us to enjoy several highly satisfying hikes.
